Pioneer ns-dv88 what do i do when the screen says dvd error 3.3 and it shut down?

    I noticed that that someone else also has this problem. dvd error 3.3.

    You said that I would need to get it serviced, do you know how much that would cost? is there no way for me to open the thing up and have a little poke around?

    Help would be much appreciated!

    Hello, we have the same problem also dvd3.3 error.

You willneed to have this unit serviced I'm afraid. You have a laser assy problem, or one of three servo circuits are not working. That would be the focus, tracking or the spindle motor circuits. Good Luck

Connect the optical cable to the DIGITAL OPT(ical) IN connection.
Press the purple 'VIDEO' button on the remote until 'VIDEO 1' appears on the display.

please describe further exactly how far you have got.

if it is only speakers : as follows:

line of 3 connectors are centre channel and left and right,

line of 2 connectors are left rear and right rear.

if howevr you are taking about connection on the back of the dvd player, there is one cable that goes to the back of the dvd palyer to the bass module, yake a phot of both send them to me and i will explain all.

hi first thing first nice story about a button couldnt understand what was the point but at last got it any way it appers that your device has a problem of earthing (ground) try connecting a copper wire to the metal surface of the device to antoher metal surface and see if the problem dissolves more then that needs a technician good luck
