Photo copier i tried to connect my photocopier (e-studio 163) for a print server (DLink DP-301U), but it's not working it shows that printer is offline always,if i connected through usb cable directly to a computer it will work and can be shared also, but if it is connected to the network through a print server it will not work,i have changed the print server but no progress,is there any extra configuration should be done on the photocopier or i have to bring another print server? thanks.

Pls try edimax ps-1206 mf or eusso ps-1211 m2 since they are mfp device support and also connect ps while using disconnect ps while not using since other users cannor use ps while you connect. The best ps for this device is seh brand p servers since it can connect and disconnect automatically

Please confirgue the print server properly. Assign a particular ip address to it if possible. Then install the photocopier driver in computer and add the network port ip eual to the ip of print server. if it does not work install the print server driver if comes with it as a printer and assign it a ip.

I am able to configure the print server and configure printer but not able to print

try this.

i got my dp-301u to work fine with my hp1020 on 2 different workstations with the following steps.

1. install printer locally via usb and test.
2. create a second printer as per the dlink manual creating a port. don't worry about the name as we will delete it.
3. once created go into the properties of the 2nd printer and change the port to something local - anything will do to free up the port.
4. go into the properties of the printer that was created in step 1. and change the port to that of the print server.
5. test print. should work fine.

cheers!!
