Tissot is not one of the easiest site to interrogate!
If you go into the "collections" choose any watch to get all its details on screen, at the bottom of the information you will see a search box (why isn't it on the first page I hear you ask!).
Put PRS 516 into this and you will be presented with a row of watches (that row of dots can be used to move along the row).
When you find the one that looks like yours click on the picture and the details of the watch will appear and near the bottom will be "user manual" click on this.
hi its a bit of a grey area as some cheap watches boast 50m water resistant but as its a tissot you should be fine but id rather you went to tissots website to make sure, just as long as you dont go diving it should be fine, good luck
SET TIME: 1. Activate Crystal 2. Tap center of screen until digital time comes up 3. Press and hold top button (+) until watch beeps, display will be flashing 4. Use + and – key to adjust time. If several hours off, hold appropriate key and after first hour passes, only the hour hand will move. 5. Make sure the digital display shows A or P for AM or PM 6. When finished, touch center of screen again.
SET DATE: 1. Activate Crystal 2. Tap center of screen until date appears 3. Press and hold top + button until watch beeps and display flashes. 4. Use + and – buttons to change date to correct one. 5. Make sure to set time first, if you set date first, you run the risk of the date changing at noon rather than midnight.
Your Tissot watch is a chronograph. The large second hand is for the stop watch only. There is another second hand by the six that is for the time. To get the large second hand to move hit the top right button, that works the stop watch. If you already knew this and your large second hand is not going around then there is something wrong with the watch either a battery or needs service.
The owners manual mentions how to fix this but the instructions are not 100% clear. You can download the PRS200 manual here: http://www.tissot.ch/data/usersmanual/134-en.pdf
Each of the 3 chrono hands are reset separately. Unscrew the crown and pull it all the way out (2 stops out). Press button A (top right) as many times as necessary until the hand is on the 30. Each press moves the hand one tick so you may need to press it several times.
Next push in the crown one click. Press button B (bottom right) as many times as necessary to advance the 60 second hand to 12'oclock. Press button A to advance the 1/10th hand to 0.
The part I did not get at first is the fact that you need to press the A and B buttons several times to advance each hand 1 tick at a time until they are all pointing to 12'oclock.
