Either the speaker or the jack is out. I wonder have you tried them in more than one device. If you have and it still dosn't work. Most likely the speaker is out. your only fix is gonna be taking the earphone apart, pulling the speaker than, finding somewhere that carries one you can replace it with... or of course there is a simpler solution... Buy a new pair. Either way, Good Luck

You can't remove your proper, Now put your earphone and start the player, now you hear the music, and sound, now off your music play and plug out your earphone, now surely you get the sound.

I plugged my earphones into my ipod and laptop to play music, and the music comes out of my left earphone, but not the right

This could the way the music is been recorded if it is strero or mono, also do confirm the earphone if one side of the earphone is faulty or not, if bad replace with the exact type and if not the media itself is faulty, you can take it the an electronics repair shop for them to diagonised the appliances... Hope this will help in solving.......

My phones right earphone is not working.

The problem is obviously as a result of the fact there is a loop in the wire as a result of a breakage in the wire hence the right earphone is not working.
The solution is to replace the wire that connects to the right earphone,or better still get another earphone.

Thanks and take care

MP3 Player with SigmaTel MSCN chip

Hah hah.. You are about to track down firmware for it and flash it, right? Bad idea! Instead, put a hook end on the end of a safety pin, gently get into the earphone jack, and coax the contact springs back to where they seat well against the earphone plug..

BTW.. this fix works with real ipods too
