I bought one of these from Computer Geeks and they said it would work with PCs -- but there is no jack to let me hook it up. I also have their 5.1 speaker system and it has the exact same problem. Does anyone know what kind of adapter I would need?

You can connect your Sylvania LC320ss8 to a computer. There is a socket at the back of your TV to connect it with a PC via VGA cable. One end of that cable must be connected to TV, and the other end of the VGA cable must be connected to PC's monitor out jack.. You have to purchase on VGA cable for this purpose, and is available at most of the electronic spare part shops. A "mini-plug audio cable" also is needed to connect the audio from PC to TV. Its one end to be connected to PCs Audio Line Out jack and its other end to TVs PC in audio jack. Both Jacks can be located at the back side of the TV. After connecting it select the TV to receive PC signals according to its manual says. OK.
Dell pcs manufactured before september 2004 will need a recovery disc to restore it to the factory settings.. In case the computer was bought after 2004 there is a factory image saved in the hard disc. As soon as you turn the computer on press CTRL+F11 KEY together or CTRL+F12 KEY together. You will get a screen to do a factory restore. NOTE-ALL DATA WILL BE LOST IF YOU DO THE ABOVE MENTIONED STEPS BUT THE COMPUTER WILL BE NEW AGAIN.
If the above mentioned steps don't work or the computer is older that sept 2004 you will need a WINDOWS Operating system disc depending on your operating system Eg-xp,vista,win7 or you can also use a recovery disc which is usually provided by the manufacturer which is DELL
Hope this will fix your problem. If not please reply
