Check if problem not caused by toner cartridge ie install another cartridge if problem still occurs fault most likely with fusing assembly. Note is there a crackling sound as the printer prints? Is there plastic film pieces fallen in machine or came out with printouts? thoes are all signs that the fuser film is torn and needs replacing.

Yes you can print, fax & scan with HP Laser jet All-in-one through LAN port (wired or wireless). Un-install and re-Install driver and Check "Extended Capabilities" when prompted.
It was not the laster jet 3055 problem at all. It was the program that I was trying to run the scanner through. Seems as though the previous employee destroyed the program and that is why it was showing only lines when I would try to scan anything. Thank you for your support. Love hp products.
