My s1922a has lines running through it

I'm sure you've already figured this out but for anyone who finds this in the future:
Try opening the front cover (where the toner is) and checking the Main Power switch in the bottom left corner under the clear piece of plastic.

If this is on the top power switch should work. If this doesnt take care of it make sure the power is plugged in. If the line is run through a surge protector try plugging it straight into the wall incase the surge protector has gone bad.

Take out battery from laptop and disconnect power cable. Keep the power button pressed for 30 seconds and then plug the power cable. This will remove static charge from laptop and should resolve the display issue,

control panel,display,settings you can make adjustments for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general
dpi normal size,larger size or custom settings

Try the monitor on another computer to see if it does the same thing with another graphics card. If it does, then the monitor is bad.

Sounds like the video card is going or has gone out

Don't Use existing USB Portn On your Comp if u want USB port then install PCI USB Card From the PCI USB card you can use your USB Device what ever you want to use
