My Delphi Roady XT will periodically stop working. Usually an error of either "Antenna", "No Signal", or "Loading". Most often it cycles through several of the error messages. It has recently stopped working for long periods of time (a day or two) before magically working again. Its getting annoying. Any ideas? I'd hate to go buy a new antenna if that isn't going to help.
The pins get easily damaged when switching from the car dock to the Belkin boom box. I have to constintly squeeze very ******* the top of the xt in order for it to make contact. Belkin will send you a plastic alignment fixture but it is too late. It still does the same thing.

Both of My Roady XTs will say antenna and stop working and then load and work for a few minutes and then it'll start all over again and it's really frustrating when all I want is to listen to the radio. I think it's time to get a new radio and saty away from this type. If anyone has solutions please post, Thanks.
We have the same problem, it started in the car and at first I thought it was a shorted antenna wire but now it's happening in the house too. It'll be playing fine for several minutes then all of a sudden it loses the signal and comes up with "ANTENNA" or sometimes "NO SIGNAL". We found that if we press it really ******* the right side onto the cradle the signal returns, but having to hold it like that isn't a fix. We've had the Roady for just a year and a 1/2, it was a birthday present for my husband, and I'm very sorry for the money wasted on this cheap product.
My wifes roadie xt just recently started having the same exact problem (antenna, no signal). She said it will happen every couple of days, and the error can last anywhere from a couple minutes, to a day or 2. after hearing of this, I obviously thought there was something wrong with the antenna or wire leading to it, so i inspected the entire length of the wire and found it to be in perfect condition. Just as somebody else had suggested, i suppose it is time to get a new receiver. thanks for the info, all.
Same problem here ... bummer
Exact same problem here. I thought it was my antennae wire too. If I leave mine just hanging from the mounting bracket in my car it works fine. As soon as I mount it--it starts all over again. I guess I'm in the market for a new XM receiver.
Well I have a dock at home, one in the van and a boom box at work. I take it from home to van to work and bak hme again everyday. Some days I'm at home listening and then go shopping etc. so it has handled a lot of movement.....now it continually goes in and out. I'm getting Direct TV this week so no longer will need a dock at home. Guess I will buy a new one for the van/work.
In my Roady 2, the problem started with the base in the house, then the one in the car. For a few months, if I pushed down hard, could get a good connection, but after a while, even that didn't work (not even rubber-banding the radio to the base to maintain pressure). So I opened up the unit (pry out the two rubber nubs on the back and use a small Torx driver to remove the two screws) and found with a stong magnifying glass that the problem was that the solder between the three pins from the antenna connector to the PC board had cracked - that's why pushing down hard worked for a while; it pushed the connectors into the PC board and closed the cracks. So I resolderred the three pins to the PC board (fine tip soldering iron, just held it against each pin to reflow the solder) and it's worked perfectly for weeks.
