Washing machine i am wanting to know, if you can tell me how to fix a sercevigna washing machine. It functions but not properly.

Possibly. What's the problem? Common problems include slow/no water flow or just hot/just cold water. This is often the automatic mixing valve failure or at least plugged screens.

Defy Laundromaid Electro Logic 1300 washing machine.
That sounds like a Control board issue. They are expensive do you need proper diagnosis, rather than just changing it.

yes you can force it off it's bad anyway so go for it and when you do get it off clean the rust off the shaft before you put the new one on. You are doing great.

Hi juanmapr,
The next step after checking the power would be to put the washer into the spin cycle and see if the machine will spin. This will tell you two things. 1 It will tell you that no water is coming in at the start of the wash cycle. 2. It will tell you if the rest of the parts are functioning properly.
If the machine will not spin when in the spin cycle and you do not hear the motor turning then you may have a bad timer.
If the machine will spin but when you start a wash cycle the water will not fill then you will need a new water inlet valve.
