Keypad cable unplugged

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

SOURCE: I used the cleaning feature on my kitchen aid

Yup Thermofuse stops the elements from heating after the self-cleaning cycle. You have to take out the oven, TURN OFF THE POWER at your circuit breaker, remove all the screws on the oven back panel, you'll see the thermofuse near the center (there are two 1/4" spade connectors (one leads from one leg of the power junction box). Two screws to remove it.

SOURCE: KitchenAid Oven Temp.- Bottomside of Pizza or Cake stays uncooked

I have a 2yo Kitchenaid oven, and my advice is first, don't use convection for cakes or pizza. Use the thermal oven. For pizza preheat to 500 degrees, then put the pizza on the lowest rack, and bake for 7-8 minutes. This way the bottom browns, and the top doesn't get broiled from the top element coming on during the bake cycle.

As for cakes, again place them on the low rack so that they get bottom heat. I keep my eye on the oven and when the broil element comes on I stick a piece of foil over the cake until it goes off. Otherwise it will set the top and the cake won't rise as much. Even doing that cakes don't rise as much as they did in my old oven, and they brown too much on top.

The convection oven does a good job of cookies, and the broil mode is okay.

I wish I hadn't bought this oven, but I didn't know about the upper (broil) element coming on during the bake cycle until I'd had it for awhile, and it was too late to return it.

If anyone's shopping for an oven, ask questions, and don't get one that maintains the oven temperature by activating the broil element when baking.

The Light has gone out in my KitchenAid Microwave Model KEMC308KSS0...how do I replace it?

I have a kems308...very similar to yours. Order the bulb by finding it on the parts list and ordering it on Amazon or thru Kaid. Mine was $13.00! The bulb on mine is a baseless bulb that goes in a bulb holder held by a spring behind the control panel. The control panel is easy to remove, but turn off the power first. Plan on an hour. If you can access yours this way it saves having to remove the whole unit.

Err F2E1 stuck/shorted key

The control panel is either faulty and needs to be replaced. One can be purchased at repairclinic website or partselect.

Or you can dismantle it, and clean everything with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab

Error code

I called the salesman where I bought the oven, and he used to be an installer.  Suggested flipping circuit breaker off/on.  It worked, and oven works for now.  However, something must be wrong to require this intervention.  Another web site (www.repair-help.com/kb/index.php?article=30) listed the F6 codes as possibly having something to do with improper grounding.  So we will get a service call.
