The lights that indicate the speed are flashing and the wheelchair only will go very slow. What does that indicate. Sometimes when I fiddle wit5h the seat up and down it will go right but then next time it will be slow again. It takes a full charge on the battery indicater lights. I suspect it has something to do with the seat up and down. Can you tell me what the speed flashing lights mean?

There is a switch or potentiometer on your seat, that sends a signal to the chair to drive slowely when tilted or reclined, this is called drive lockout, you may have a malfunction or the provider didn't set it to a setting for your needs, contact them and ask for repair or reprograming which ever is the case, if that is a problem call 1-800-800-8586 talk to jazzy tech support they have a company called road runner for repairs etc.

SOURCE: Chair won't go. Lights flash

Check your freewheel levers. They must be engaged or the lights will flash and the chair will be inoperable. These levers are under the shroud behind drive wheels. (One on each side)

SOURCE: Led lights flash and Pride Go chair won't move.

Firstly disengage the drive levers and then "flick "them in fash.
Second pull out the large plug that is between them.
Check for damaged or bent or loose pins. press it home firmly .
I did this on my wifes chair and she zooms around.
All switched etc should be off during charge.

Lastly i fully discharged then recharged the battery to ensure no "battery charge memory".
To fully dicharge i shoved a small box between back wheels so to lift of ground and then a elastic band to hond controler on.

Has the chair been put in "manual mode"? Make sure of this and that batteries are secure.

SOURCE: Re: Pride Jazzy 1103 Ultra.

When the power seat lift lowers down, there is usually a bracket that pushes a button under the seat that tells the motor the seat is lowered and the power chair is safe to operate. Sometimes the bracket can get bent and the button does not get pressed when the seat goes down. Check under the seat around the seat post for the button and make sure the bracket is connecting to it. Carefully bend it back into place if it is not hitting the button properly. If the bracket came off, it will need to be replaced.
Good luck!

Red light flashing charger, says abnormal?

On some units a red light indicates that it is not ready. Sometimes you have to turn the unit off before it will charge or it may not be plugged in all the way. If it is an on board charger sometimes a bad connection will cause this. Invacare wheelchairs experience this sometimes. A lot of the time you can fix the problem by disconnecting the plugs and reconnecting them. This will re-seat the plug and make a good connection. Try this first.

Pride Motor Chair 2008 Vr2 Controller Speed adjustment lights go to fast setting but chair barely crawls along!

Great question! The slow flash is indicative of a speed reduced mode on models designed for a seat lift option. If the controller detects that the seat is elevated then the speed is reduced - regardless of what you try to do at the joystick.
First - try lowering the seat to its lowest position.
If this doesnt work then look for a bad or disconnected sensor switch on the seat post. There are two leads at a 2-pin plug that are not making a connection when the seat is lowered - causing the controller to sense the chair is not safe to drive fast.

When mvp4 is turned on the battery lights come on and then go out and the speed indicator lights come on flash several times and then nothing.

Count the number of flashes this will give you an error code and you can determine the error by the number of flashes your users manual should list the error codes and their meaning. If not call Hoveround Tech support for help Hope this helps you

Have a jazzy 1113. The speed profile lights flash then the chair shuts off. The batteries show full.

The flash of the speed lights indicate that you are in the charger inhibit mode and if the charger is not plugged in then you have a problem that needs to be checked by a tech or your provider that sold you your chair Sorry I don't have a quick fix

My speed indicator lights are constintly flashing- the chair works fine though

You don't say what sort of chair you have, but if it has tilt or power seating system, the speed lights flashing could be a power-limiting warning, which means you have the seat tilted or raised too high for full power so it is limited to going slow. Lower seat and then try to drive it an normal speed. If the seat isn't tilted or raised and lights are flashing, then the switch on the chair that senses the height or the tile is probably faulty and would require replacement. Do NOT disable or bypass the switch as it is a safety device to prevent unsafe operation.

Lights flashing

Are you sure that your batteries are not just able to hold a charge? Flashing lights and slow motion are typical indicators.

My hoveround MPV5 will not operate. fully charged battery charger light turns green. the brakes are in run position and when the unit is turned on the charge bar just flashes and the chair will not...

You will need to take it in for repair. 8 bar flash usually means you have a bad joystick/controller. They can sometimes send it in to the manufacturer to have it repaired. Find a reputable dealer and relay this info to them.
