My mp3 player not supported

I haven't CD of installing of FIRMWARE VERSION 3 on my MP3 player 512 MB and i want quickly guidance from ur side.. and also i don't know how to setup all of software part and driver of that on my MP3 player

    I misplaced my "install cd" that came with my Phillips Go Gear device. I bought a compatible "USB" cord but I can not get the old songs off my device - to add new ones. What do I do?

I believe you are talking about updating the firmware.

You can update the firmware manually by going to the Sansa Website and getting the file.

You need to have a unzip program like WinRar.

First check the firmware version on your clip

Also check to make sure you haven

Manually verify whether your firmware is up
to date
Make sure your player is charged fully.
1 Connect your player to the computer.
2 Launch Philips Device Manager from Start > Programs > Philips Device
3 Select your device.
4 Click Update.
> Philips Device Manager will check whether a new firmware is available on the Internet and
install it on your player.
5 When Update completed appears on the screen, click OK and disconnect the player.
> A message Updating firmware will be displayed.
The player will automatically restart after firmware is completely updated. Your player is now
ready to use again.

Do not have iriver cd to update the firmware and convert the audio and mvi


To the iRiver support site:

In the top page right corner enter "E100" and all support for the E100 player shows up.
Click on the required New Firmware e.g. latest version 1.22 to get more information ( sep 25, 2009 ).
Next click
"-. Customers who purchase E100 can upgrade their players either
by Firmware updater or Iriver plus3".

A page shows up for how to download and install the firmware.
Right click the firmware updater
and select "save target as...", for a place to save the installer.

Getting Iriver plus 3:
In the left column of the support page select Plus 3. Next left click Download iriver PLUS3 and save the execute file iplus3.exe .

Code 10 errors can be resolved by completely uninstalling the Philips Device Manager and other software that came with the GoGear installation CD, and then reinstalling the clean version of the software from the Philips website.  Then running a Repair. The version of the Device Manager that is on the installation CD is not the same version as the one from the website.
Recovery Mode for Philips' GoGear
Open the Philips Device Manager and click on the “Repair” tab.  Then click on the “Repair” button to start the repair process.  Most of the time, when your player is in that state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged in.  If this is the case: Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.

You need to get the latest firmware upgrade from the Philips website:
1. Go to
2. Enter your country/language
3. Enter your model # SA6045 or whatever
4. Click on the link for your exact model # (the one w/o the "B" in it)
5. Click on "Software & Drivers"
6. Download the updated "Device/Firmware Manager"
7. Once installed, open the Philips Device Manager
8. Click on the "Update" tab, then the "Update" button (with your mp3 player connected to the computer, of course)
9. Your Mp3 players firmware will update automatically
If you do not have the latest version of the Philips Device Manager installed (the latest is the version from the Philips website), then clicking the "Update" button will give you a false positive saying "The firmware on your device is already up to date."

Update the firmware of your device. You can download the firmware at site check if your device is a version 1 or a version 2 player first. But normally this problem occures on version 1 player.
