This was really helpful for me. My son's PSP had no sound. Only when he used the headphones he could hear the sound. I spaued a litle CRC 5-56 i too the earphone plug hole and put the mini stereojacket in and out several times. And, violaa, the sond came back. Thanks.

Uh, one thing i did was blow into the speaker phone hole and now it works... it might actually be built up dust inside the psp.

Oh, I had the Exactly same problem, and you know what I did? I put the music on, and after that I plugged the plug in and out a few times, and suddenly, I could hear the music! There is probably just some touch erro which makes the PSP think that the plug is still in. Otherwise your PSP's speakers are broken... Probably not.

No sounds when i play psp games

1) Try plugging in and out the headphone jack with headphones and see if the speakers turn on
2) Make sure the volume button + is pushed until you reach max volume.
3) You may have a broken speaker from dropping the PSP which has occurred to me before.

Psp sound problem

My son had the same problem. I put tape around the top part of the headphone jack and plugged it in. Worked great!!! Don't know how long it'll hold up, but it's a quick fix for now.....

Psp makes stuck key keyboard sound

i really dont think thats a problem unless it REALLY effecys you. it also might just be the default sound settings on the psp. or the speakers of the psp could be messed up. t unless the sound of games is distorted then i think you will be fine unless the keyboard just doesnt type.

PSP Video Sound Problem

it might have to do with the type of psp that u are running

my old phat had no problems with videos and the newer motherboard that i just put into it has no problems either. aslo, did u try using headphones? in another case if u only use headphones that could be the problem. the headphones i mean. of course there could also be something wrong with ur motherboard and if so i would recamend for u not to worry about it unless it totaly craps out. then u would have to take it to a shop to get fixed
