Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
My psp has lost sound on everything unless i plug in the headphones. This is getting very annoying for games. The psp doesnt seem to have any visable problems with it.
I had the same problem too, pluging the audio jack many time is not solving the problem any more!
its become serius now.

This was really helpful for me. My son's PSP had no sound. Only when he used the headphones he could hear the sound. I spaued a litle CRC 5-56 i too the earphone plug hole and put the mini stereojacket in and out several times. And, violaa, the sond came back. Thanks.

Uh, one thing i did was blow into the speaker phone hole and now it works... it might actually be built up dust inside the psp.

Oh, I had the Exactly same problem, and you know what I did? I put the music on, and after that I plugged the plug in and out a few times, and suddenly, I could hear the music! There is probably just some touch erro which makes the PSP think that the plug is still in. Otherwise your PSP's speakers are broken... Probably not.
