MW051 -U My F & P washing maching is doing the same having problems the water both hot and cold. both at start up only go in short birsts and after 15 secunds, the bowl turns only 3-4 centermeters or so it shuts down and beeps I saw the advise from Doctr who said the hall sensor is corroded. unplug the power lead, tilt the machine back & look underneath. unscrew that large white knob & the motor will basically remove. then you will see a small electronic card attached to the windings of the motor (hall rotor sensor). unclip it & unplug. it will be corroded. replace it & reassemble as it came apart. HOW DO YOU UN SCREW THE WHITE KNOB! - mine is very very tight, is it reverse thread? regards also on the Gold Coast Queensland Australia- where do I go for spare parts :) regards Craig :)

Hi craig Doctr here. there should be a hex head shape on the white knob. get you spanner or socket onto it. give it a crack. will have to check tomorrow about the thread. i can provide you with a new hall sensor. phil

Smart drive washing machine not filling properly?

sounds like you do have a solenoid problem undo hoses from back of machine check the filters are not blocked also check at the tap end to see if filter are cleare if all filters are clear most likely you will have to replace you inlet valves assuming there is no problem with pcb board.

Washing maching won't rinse in cold water

hi is this hot and cold water piped machine? ie two connections on rear of machine for hot and cold pipes ? if so are your pipes connected properly on machine and the water supplies? if cold supply is connected to hot supply then wash inlet allows water in washer then washes in cold? but when rinse is due? the elec valve that has hot water pipe connected?? is failing to open allowing water flow of hot on rinse so advise recheck pipes for flow of water from both? when disconnected from machine if flow ok then possible valve blocked/faulty hope you can understand above? if you can give more info on your machine it would help to offer a remedy?

Close your faucet valve on wall & unscrew your hoses to check screens on hoses & machine. Clean out well. See that the water pressure is good. Refit, check for leaks. If this is not the problem change your inlet valve, it is easily done.

Fisher and Paykel MW051 washing machine.

If you can stop it with your thumb there is NO DOUBT it is water pressure.. Pull the hose and check the tap direct, that will tell you if you have a plumbing problem of just a funky hose...
Good luck
