Formated by mistake

I have had the problem with formatting my player and not getting it to work, i tried this because i had an earlier issue where the program supplied with it did not pik up the player though it was connected to my laptop so now it says operating system not found. sum one plzzzzzzzzzz help im desperate

i Formated by mistake my elio tatung 20go. and now, nothing , they schouldn't work

in the solution it says to change pathways how do you do this?

You will have to connect elio to your pc open your my computer program and you should see elio conected to your pc as removable storage device H THEN click on device then propeties you should then be able to open diolog with your pc by changing the pathways of your files manualy as i have to because the soft ware provided with the elio will not work on my pc

Have you checked this out with another PC please try this out. In the player gets detected then the fault could be failure or virus in your system. If so use a good antivirus to scan and delete any malwares. you can also restore your PC to an earlier set point. open control panel and use the restore settings if you had set this up earlier. If the same fault is seen on other PC then you might have a program fault in your ipod. Try to repeat the reset / formatting once again hope I could help . Good day

Supported files missing

hi,
u formated the data(mp3s) and the players
firmware with them.

do get the firmware installer here:

http://www.sony.co.uk/product/nws-e-series/nw-e107

reinstall the firmware and audio manager

and next time just erase all the mp3s only (via file manager or windows exploerer
instead of blanking the whole player :-)

ok, have the same problem...
follow these instructions..

then u have to test if the auto transfer is working, pass some music trough the autotranster to your player, then unplug and try if works, if yes, u can now transfer by the windows explorer, if dont, u have to format again (ive formated in FAT, not FAT32) then follow the instructions above again and try...

man ive formated mine player so many times to it realy works that i cant tell u why (how) it works again...

First thing to do here since the new mp3 player that you have is not yet formatted, so lets do format it it first, just open up Mycomputer and your player should show there just right click on it and select Format then after that try to synch songs it should be working already.....

Problem in formatting Creative MuVo V200 MP3 player FM Voice Recorder 1 GB

The below was copyed from an earlier post of mine. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R
