Question about Toshiba 32AF43 32" TV
It is possible that your tv IR circuit is the problem could be that a cap needs to replace.as posted by you saying that when you plug in the tv the remote works, that means voltage charge up the cap and the tv works with the remtoe but as soon as you switch off the tv the cap discharge the stored voltage so you will have to plug in the tv for the cap to charge,and in order for the remote to activate the tv.that cap can be found just near the IR diode.good luck.
