Question about Jenn-Air SVE47100 Slide-In Electric Kitchen Range
This is a common problem with Jenn-Air and Maytag that I have found. There is no way to brighten the display and usually requires the replacement of the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board. I think this may have something to do with the placement of the board and possibly being damaged by heat from the oven over a period of time. Do you do a lot of baking? Do you use the self-clean mode for your oven a lot? These seem to be contributors to these boards failing like they do. I know of one person who has replaced the EOC 6 times on the same stove. I don't know if this is the advice you were looking for, but I hope it helps you.

Have the identical problem, but do not bake or use the self clean often.
Jenn-air sve47600B. When I baked in the oven at hi temp (450F) it starts to beep and in the display panel an "FC" is displayed. This probably stands for fan control. I had it in the convect bake on too. I tried to just restet the main breaker (220VAC panel) but it just started to beep again. When the stove cooled to room temp all was well again. My guess is that there is a lack of internal insulation and something is getting too hot in there. Is there a heat path that is warming something up? are there any service bullitins on this issue? I'm affraid to bake now till I find out.
Thanks Joe.
Jenn-Air SVD48600-the red electronic display becomes unreadable within minutes of setting the temp. Must listen for the beep to know when correct temp is reached as I cannot see the numbers. Clock display (blue) remains bright.
I concede that replacement is the only solution. I have the new part. How do I get into the front panel to replace the electronic display. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My electronic panel has gone out four times on this lemon of a oven.
I have the same problem. Which of the 4 PCB's is the correct one to replace?
