Fuzzy picture when I use the cam to make a video it is very clear and sharp but when I use it on msn live messenger the picture is fuzzy.

it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and hear you.

B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger

Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on "Open the call setup assistant" and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on " "Show Menus." And then click on "Show the Menu Bar".
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on " "Action."
Go to "TOOLS" and click "Audio and Video Setting" and follow the instructions.
NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.
When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

D. AIM (AOL) Messenger:

On the VIM sign-in window click on Edit.
Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
Next click on Enhanced IM.
Then click on Audio Video.
The Audio and Video portion has drop downs so you can select the proper audio card and video camera installed in you computer.
The Audi Video drop downs are
Microphone
Speaker
Camera
The audio and camera should function now.

in this case the problem is with the msn...try to reinstall the windows live messenger ...there are available new updates on windows site ...just google for windows live messenger ..and it will gave you solutions for download
so ..reinstall cause it it was the camera..it should just not work ...but you should be able to see other people web cams..

In msn live click on show menu then tools option for cam setup
If that don't work click again show menu then actions then video then show my webcam or start video conversation.
If taht does'nt work then I would assume it's something in your camera setup itself

YOU CAN USE THE WEB CAM IN ALL LIVE CHATTING APPLICATION.

at the top of Windows live messenger, u will see your name, and 'personal message'
if u go below that, you will see something saying: 'search contacts of the web' beside that u will see a gray person with a green PLUS on them.beside that there will be 2 'pictures' .
then...beside that you will see a ICON of a 'drop list' with a 'cursor' over it. CLICK ON THIS

a menu will drop down...

then....hover over 'tools'

then click on: "audio and video setup..."
check your speaker and microphone are working...click NEXT from the drop down list select the right webcam.

THEN click 'finish'

AND YOUR DONE!

then, to 'video call'...open up a chat window with whom u wish to call
click on VIDEO CALL

As long as she is accepting your call when invited it should show up a little MSN advert then show your picture. The problem may be at your end, so check that you have the cam set up in settings and you both allow video to be accepted, ckeck all the web cam settings and menu options. If you haven't already, download MSN live messenger.

I can use the webcam on Skype but when I close Skype and open Instant Messenger I get a message that the webcam is unplugged or being used by another application.
