Extra Remote If anybody has an extra remote, I would love to take it off of your hands.

There are 2 models for the openers.
One is grey on the front and 1 is just one color. If you get an extra remote it have to be the same color.
Both are different internally and are not compatable with each other.

I hope this is your problem.

and ended up with an extra remote.

One of my favorite lines to use when I encounter ignorance, usually by the 30 and under crowd.

Most recently I heard "you can't get your breadsticks with extra cheese because I don't have a button for that". Too much and unbelievable!!

the easyest way to to this is useing DEI Part# 556U you will nned extra key but i think its easyest.or XKO3 if you dont have extra key.

1. look at the side with the most buttons.
2. select channel you want to set, eg, channel 3 button near top.
2. slide the outer casing down 1cm to reveal 5 extra buttons.
4. from 5 extra buttons, press diamond with arrow button, then plus or minus button to find station, then diamond again to set.

The procedure is outlined in your manual.

On your receiver or main remote, press SYS INFO. See which channel your remote address is on. Then take the extra remote, press and hold down the SAT button. It will blink a few times then remain lit. Press the number that the remote address of the main remote is on the extra remote, then hit pound (bottom right button). You should be good to go.
