Hi, I recently purchased an Electrolux E23CS75DSS side by side stainless steel refrigerator. About once per hour, it makes lots of noise. The repair man told me that it is because it is forcing freon through a small pipe and that these new fridge make lots of noise. It sounds like a constant gurgling / knocking noise. And it goes for about 2-3 minutes. I can hear it from 2 rooms away. Is this really normal? I read a review of this product where someone said it had quiet operation. But this is definately not quiet, it even woke me up in the middle of the night. Any help/thoughts much appreciated? Thanks, Andy
Hi Andy, I had a similar problem, when ever I opened my frezer door and closed it I would get a loud gurgling noise. I complained to the store where I purchased and they sent two repair people out with no luck. I finally conviced them to give me a new one, which does not have the gurgling noise at all. How ever this one does not defrost around the area where the ice comes through the door, frost builds up and I have to take out the ice box unit to defrost. These units look great but seem to have problems. Rich

Hi Andy, I have had luck insulating the cap tube coming off the heat exchanger, going into the evaporator. If the repair man can wrap some mastic around the area where the cap goes into the evap, this may quiet it down enough. This is common on some models. Some people are more in tune to it than others. Give that a try. Catriver.

Hey friend, thank you for your post!
You are able to purchase parts with the coating already applied for your Electrolux refrigerator, E23CS75DSS. To answer your question, there is no way to fix the bubbling issue on your appliance you would have to purchase new parts for your refrigerator. I have included the parts manual link so you can look over parts needed. Once you have those parts numbers needed you can reach out to the manufacture to order them. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
