AverMedia KeyLite Hello, Please could you advise me on how I can use this? I have attached to my laptop via USB and the other side to a composite cable and plugged the composite cable into the front of my TV via the L/R Audio and Video inputs. HOWEVER, nothing happens. Do I need to configure my laptop although I thought the KeyLite was Plug and play? ANy help would be very much appreciated.

Plug and play simply means that the unit is supported within windows and does not require a driver to be installed, although this peice of hardware gives many options as to connection the pc graphics driver still needs to be told to either duplicate(clone) the screen to your tv or change the screen from monitor to tv, this is normally done by right clicking on an empty space on your desktop and selecting graphics options or the menu will already appear to enable you to click to change your view. Dont forget also this unit only supports 1024x768 desktop resolution

Ultra tv usb 300 windows 7

Hello try to search at the homepage by using the product number:

http://www.avermedia-usa.com/avertv/Support/Download.aspx?Type=Driver

If not there you have to buy a new one.
Because the software does not fit a newer
windows system.

If you stlll have the the software try to install in
compatibiblity mode. But it will probably not run on 64 bit system.

Good luck

I can't connect my hp 2790 pocket pc with my laptop can you tell me please if i have to download a programm so my laptop can recognize my pocket pc?thanks

Glad to help YOU!

You don't need to download and to install nothing particularly! No need of that.
When your PC doesn't recognize your laptop or any other attached device via USB it means there's a faulted USB connector. It could be on the PC the broken one, or it could be on the laptop.
Try different variants of connection. But first check the USB ports of the PC and laptop by attaching to each machine another device (iPOD, PDA, digital camera etc. - all via USB).

But there's another way to connect a laptop and a PC: via Wi-Fi and via Bluetooth.
Did you try to connect them like that?

Hello, I have a Sony EVI-D100 (ptz), I can connect the camera to my laptop, but only by the VISCA cable, used to control remotely the camera via PC, therefore I can control the camera but none video is...

Visca cable is only for camera control, it does not transmit video signal. You will need a USB video capture device and a s-video or composite video cable. Make sure the device you choose has the drivers for your version of Windows.

Have a avermedia KeyLite pc to tv but it wont let my laptop connect to tv laptop is vista

This is a TV tuner for a laptop pc, the only output to the TV is via S-Video.

The rest is viewed on the PC.

Slow computer

I think what you are talking about is that the usb device could run faster if inserted into a USB 2.0 slot. If your computer does not have USB 2.0 (which yours does not) you will just have to live with a tad less speed when transfering files to the usb device. No beg, and you probably would not notice the difference.

Thank you

Datamax M-4208 shows ready but does not print

Hi,

I belive that, PC can detect the Printer and the only problem, the drivers are unabled to route the print queue and that creates a problem.

If your OS is XP/Vista/2000, try the below steps.

1.Right click on MY computer ->Properties->Hardware->Device manager.

2.You will get Device manager window popping out.

3.Scroll down to "Universal Serial BUS controllers".Click on the (+) sign.

4.Check for the "USB Composite Device" and right click on it, click Uninstall. ((IMPORTANT NOTE:WE HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, TO KNOW WHETHER IS THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, RIGHT CLICK ON USB COMPOSITE DEVICE AND PROPERTIES,look for what location says, Eg -LOCATION : Datamax M 4200)).

5.Disconnect the USB and reboot the PC.

6.Connect the USB after reboot, you will get popup "Found new hardware".Then the Drivers will be installed Automatically.

Avermedia Tech AVerMedia QuickPlay

Unfortunately the Avermedia Quickplay doesn't support audio. If you want the matching audio too, you'll have to either use your computer's native audio (if it's in the same room), or hook it up to your TV with a separate cable.

Avermedia Averkey lite - Monitor Colour Display Issue

I had the same problem. I was going from PC -> Dvd recorder -> TV.
I had the S-Video output from the averkey going via an adaptor into the DVD scart input. I discovered a setting within the DVD menu which could select between 's-video' and 'composite video' on the scart socket. (it appears that scart can carry either/or, I guess).

I changed from composite to s-video, and I got colour.

I think seeing a greyscale image indicates that the signal being sent is S-Video, but the equipment that is recieving it is expecting composite video.
