I have been using the adapter on windows xp with no problem but now wants to use it on a vista machine, adapter is ver 2.1.
It seems like the software which came with it would do nothing on vista 64 bit. Please help with some instructions.
Thanks
Gus

You can download the driver directly from here.
A couple of other tips to add: If you don't find the correct driver right away (you get an Error 10 Code), be sure you go back and uninstall the incorrect driver. Then click on Actions, select Detect Hardware Changes, and you'll get back to your original Device Manager configuration with the Network Controller listed again under Other Devices. (When you install an incorrect driver, it will show up under Network Adapters and the original detection under Other Devices will go away.)

I'm sorry to say this but Linksys don;t have any driver made for a 64 bit computer for this adapter and that is the reason why it wont work with a 64 bit computer.......
Have u gone to the Linksys web site and checked the support section for software downloads, I am sure the sofware is there as wll as the instructions.
HI,
I'll let you know if there is a software available for vista 64bit in a moment.
Looks like linksys website is down right now. Once it does come up go to the support section and get the drivers using the WUSB54G section. They should be available for your device if it isn't on the cd you were given when you purchased the unit.
Here is the page for it:

There isn't any Vista drivers for it. The last set of drivers available for it are from 2004.
