Sounds crazy but have your Alternator checked? Sometimes things will act up in your car if your alternator is trying to quit on you!! happened to me. i thought the mechanic was nuts but once it was changed everything went back to normal.

One of the switches on the doors or tailgate are broken. Look at the switches (located on the door or the door pillars) and see if one of them has been broken or stuck. This switch turns lights off when depressed.
have you checked your interior light switch to make sure it's off? if so then check your door panels to make sure that your door switch plunger is'nt stuck. look at door jams wher the hinges are for a small button like switch that pushes in and out. you may have to spray a little wd40 on those so they don't stick if you find one stuck.those are usually the culprit when lights stay on, so check allthose, each door, one by one.
It's not a fuse, It is the internal wiring, the wiring from your dome light to your wiring harness is bad.. have you recently put in an aftermarket CD player?
If it's a factory CD I doubt cleaning it would help. I went through quite a few CD players for my 97 Cavalier. I would just get an aftermarket personally.
Sounds like the switch has shorted out inside. The only fix for this is a new switch. But first look at the wiring on the back of the switch to make sure they are not crossed and causing the light to stay on. Good luck.
Hi! Further to my collegues advice I would be looking at the interior light switch on the light itself. There should be three positions, 1 lights on permanently, 2 lights on door open and finally 3 lights off completly.
Also make sure the driver and passenger door switches located round the perimeter are all clean and not corroded or stuck in.
There you are another problem Fix~Ya'd.
