Philips 42PF7320A 42 in.

My menue screen keeps popping up. i will hit exit and it keeps popping up every 3 or 4 minutes. how do i fix this?

when you hit exit the settings screen pops up again and will not stay off

I accidently pushed the MENU button on the remote and now when I select the EXIT function, the picture appears and then the MENU reappears. It's a Philips 42PF7320A model.

Remove the power cable from the powernet for a cold reset and try again.

Have a philips 42pf7320A/37 with poor menu control. It keep popping up and staying on screen,even after activate exit, it pops back up.

That's your remote, not the TV. Your Remote button is hanging. Try a Phillips universal remote replacement and see if that problem doesn't go byebye.

When we turn it on, the menu automatically pops up and when we try to exit, it goes away for a brief second then pops back up. We can hear the TV show in the background, but the menu screen blocks you...

we have the same problem that just started about 2 weeks ago. Have you gotten your tv fixed yet?

MENU KEEPS POPPING UP

It's a software problem with the TV. Go to the PHILIPS web site for downloading the latest software upgrade for your TV to fix the problem.
Lots of Philips TV are having the same problem. Philips support should provide the software for free.

My phillips 42 in. goes directly to the menu screen.

It's a common software problem with the Philips TVs. You'll have to download the latest software upgrade to fix the problem. Go to Philips.com/support to find the software for your TV. You'll need a USB memory stick to do the procedure followed on the web site.

Set up menu will not exit

Most of the newer Philips TVs have upgradeable software to fix that problem. You'll need a USB memory stick to download the software for the TV. Go to the Philips web site and they should have the correct software for your TV and will have the procedure for you to do the software upgrade.
