I have several pictures on my HP Photosmart M417 camera that I can view right off the camera - However when I go to print them or view them on the computer - every picture with the green lines going through them disappear (graying out) from the bottom up. I have lost several really good memories! Any help would be appreciated.

It is probably a faulty CCD sensor. It was a common problem with digital cameras made before 2005. Contact HP to see whether they can repair it for free.

Providing the images remain OK - Do They? It is best to ignore the problem, because there is no repair solution. You could get on the HP Technical Support Team to see what they have to say - this may be a manufacturing fault.

Samsung Monitor Syncmaster 913V Montior Screen shows patches of screen on desktop and playing videos

Sounds like your LCD panel has gone bad.

If the unit is under warranty, take it to a Samsung repair shop. If it is not under warranty, go buy a new one. LCD panels are usually more expensive then buying a whole new monitor.

Casio Exilim s500--horizontal lines in picture and autofocus creates blurry pics

It appears this problem is due a failing CCD device in many brand cameras. All the manufactures use the same source(s). I have not persued Casio as yet, but other companies are offering a recall to replace the CCD for free. I plan to use this approach with Casio. Search the web for "failing CCD in digital camera", it describes exactly what we are observing.

Green Patches and Horizontal Line

its your ccd chip,, its broken,, u can let them repair it but its cheaper to buy a new one,, your ccd chip does not show the manufactor on your screen but it controls the colours of your photo, so u only can see this when u took the picture,, and for some reason the video does not need the ccd chip,, the ccd chip is only for the photos u gonna take,, hope i helped ya

Green screen with almost horizontal zigzag lines

Is good that you hit it and it reacts, very likely you have loose conections in different places but for the distorted picture you need to check the horizontal driver transformer and flyback after that is corrected you need to check the complete chassis for loose conections.Take your time.Good luck.
