Error codes for Smeg S2010MXF5 Pyrolytic Stainless Steel Oven

I have 2 problems: The first is that last night the oven started beeping at me with code F8 ER - I had used it to cook a pizza and had just switched the controls to "off". There are no error codes in my manual and can't find any on the internet - are you able to advise what this error codes means? The second is that the oven cooks unevenly across the cooker it is much hotter on the right hand side (and can burn things) even when using the fan. I have recently had the circular element at the back of the cooker replaced, though I understand that there is more than 1 element in this cooker - could it be another element has died? The inside of the door has also been replaced at the same time as the element (as the enamel was slightly chipped)plus the clock and buttons (three of the buttons had come adrift the clock had worked fine). Typical Italian manufacture beautiful to look at but unreliable?

SOURCE: smeg oven not working. only clock and thermostat light working

It sounds like you have either one of the following things that need attention. First, turn off both breakers to the oven and then back on. Next check the wiring from the receptacle to the back of the oven. Next, check your internal fuses. Most ovens have them. Last, check the wiring to the elements and control switches. Somewhere you have a wire burned off the terminals or control switch. That smell you referred to is probably one of the wires that may be burned.

Circuit board failure

This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
  2. If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Lots of water/condensate ends up on bottom of oven

I have the same problem with my new Smeg oven. I try to avoid using the oven at the moment because of the amount of condensation I have to mop up each time I use it, even the floor get wet!. Smeg have said they will replace it but I am now looking for an oven that will fit into the 'whole' the oven will leave in my newly renovated kitchen. I wish I had never ventured near to SMEG. I would never recomend Smeg to friends, quite the opposite.

Pyrolytic cleaning won't start. Neff B15P42.0 GB

you have to remove the shelf supports (left and right) as well as the shelves. The manual tells you about the shelves but not the supports. I only found out as someone wrote the answer on another website

You need to remove the rack side supports too. Its not clear in the book as it just says shelves and racks but everything needs to come out the oven.
