Question about Scanport 17" LCD Monitor

Scanport N7 LCD Monitor won't stay on

It is a Scanport N7 LCD Monitor Model Number M17FBA. I turn it on and it won't stay on it flashes the desktop then immediatly goes back off and the power light stays on. It only did this when it was turned of for to long so I would just leave it on (even did it with the pc's power save feature for monitor). Everything with the power cable and Video cable is good. And another monitor on the same pc works just fine. In the past when it has done this I would just let it sit on and it would eventually come on 2 - 3 hours later. My toddler son turned it off yesterday and now it won't come back on for nothing. I have let it sit on over night over 12 hours and it has not came back on. I have it taken apart right now so if someone could please help me with this issue asap I would really appreciate it. I can send pictures of the board in it if needed.

I have a 17" Scanport

You may buy any adapter with 12V, however, make sure the new one also matches at least the same Amp. of the monitor. Universal laptop adapters are ok to use.

My N7 M17FBA monitor wont turn on anymore. I was using it fine and got a new monitor for home and took the N7 to work. However when I got there it wont turn on. The power AC box shows a light but nothing...

It can be poor dolder joint s where the DC input jack is on the board, or it may have blown the fuse inside, you need to check that first.

Failed TV and Monitors:
Capacitors kit: he can make you a set of caps for you.
Please post back what you find.

LCD Monitor (Model Number M17FBA) Signal Out of Range

Start the computer in SAFE mode. F8 before Windows starts. Once in SAFE mode change the screen resolution to 600 X 480. Do this by right clicking anywhere on the desktop. Once done then reboot into normal mode.

Scanport N9 Monitor Model #M19FBK flashes one time and goes dark.

Not likely it got damaged in the move.
Make sure the plugs are firmly seated. That is, the power cord and the video plug at both ends.

I need a power cord for the monitor

It should be the same type of power cord as for a computer so you can take one from a old computer or buy one at your local computer shop

The best thing is to look for broken ones on ebay and recycle the parts to get the 6 you have working again.

You may also want to try if you can get the part numbers.

Power (i.e. "switching adapter") needs to be replaced.

Pick up a 100W Universal Laptop PSU which comes with various connectors. There should be one which fits, and there you go :)
