Blue snowy pixel areas on my plasma

I have a six month old Samsung 42" plasma. I just started showing an area towards the upper left corner of blue snowy pixel patches. Its not there all the time. It shows up under certain light or bright emissions of picture. Even on black and white movies. Its about six inches down and about three inches in on the upper left corner. Usually shows up when the TV warms up.

Some of these panels were mis-calibrated from the factory after not aging long enough. Let the TV run for atleast 2 hours and adjust the Vs and Vscan voltages. When it is blue in the left I have found generally the Vs is about 10 volts too high.

There are POT's on the power supply they should be labled. Be carefull, if it is only 6 months old I'd call samsung they will find you a pro under warranty.

I have a samsung 42 plasma tv with a blue line down left side what is the cause and can it be fixed?

It sounds like a lower right buffer board issue. I recommend having a professional in your area look at it. You are dealing in a very delicate area of a plasma set. If you were to damage the ribbon cable that goes directly to the display, you'll end up buying a new set.

Samsung Model: HP-R4262 42" Plasma Problem, pink pixelation/ghosting

Onece the plasma heats up it shrinks a little, i think the cause is that you are low on plasma, so when i heats it shrinks and since the plasma cycles, the area low on plasma wil move slowly around the screen, take this to a repairman and more plasma can be added to it.

V scan voltage

Try to adjust the V scan voltage down about 5-10V. If still not working, also try to adjust the Vs voltage down about 5-10V.
