Newly installed in a camper from the leisure battery, power to the unit and will load the cd then the unit goes dead.Press the eject button and the unit illuminates and ejects and again goes dead

Do you have power going to both the red and yellow wires? The red wire generally goes to a switched power source and the yellow should be constant. Both wires need to have power going to them in order for the unit to work properly.

My cd won't eject. the car recently had the altenator replaced and everything in the car was reset. could this have affected the cd player?

Some players get set to a default like when it was fresh out of the box when power is removed. Since you radio from the factory knows there is no disc in it, it thinks there is nothing to eject. Push the reset button and your disc should eject.

Jvc kd lx111 deck wont eject cd

I just had this problem today and when I attempted to eject the CD it would give me an error message that stated (ERR 32). Apparently this means that there is something blocking the movement of the screen, a little manipulation should help the issue. Another variable could be the Eject lock feature, essentially a "child lock" for your disc. When this lock is activated it prevents the CD in the deck to be ejected. You can change this by holding down the blue source button and the eject button simultaneously for about 2 or 3 seconds. A message should appear saying "No Eject" and one that repeatedly flashes "Eject on" These two things seemed to help me alot when I had this issue. If those things don't work I would recommend calling JVC, much to my suprise they were actually really helpful. Their number is 1-800-252-5722.
