No Dell AIO 900 series printers can be used with Macs. To save money on the components, these printers were built using low capability chips that offload almost all processing to the host computer. The procedure is completely proprietary to this branch of printers and no driver is available for any other OS than Windows.

The printer is basically a Lexmark with a Dell logo on it, but drivers for the comparable Lexmark printers have been confirmed not work. You cannot use the "Generic" or "PostScript" drivers with this printer either. Its hopeless.

Dell 924: POS. I got it through a deal with my employer (Greater Glasgow Health Board) only to find I can't use generic ink and so have to pay extortionate prices for the Dell stuff. Also, having now upgraded to an imac, I cant use it. Avoid Dell.

Thanks! Finally an answer, which is more than you get from Dell. I wish they would just say "your got a free printer with your really low price Dell B130 laptop, Be Happy!" I'm fine with that. What I don't like is beating my head against a wall before someone tells me what I need to know so I can get on with life and buy a MAC compatible printer.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for. Time to get a Mac Compatible printer then.

I want dell photo 924 for mac

I am sorry but this printer is not supported on a Macintosh, if you will take a little time and read below you will find that its for a windows operating system.
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R109906&SystemID=INS_PNT_6000&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=8733&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=&impid=&formatcnt=0&libid=40&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=143054

Now if you had a intel based macintosh you can dual boot into a windows UI and then run it but even that is a little shaky due to the USB hub on the mac. Good luck

please do be considerate tho and leave postive feedback and ratings for your free answer today.

Is there a way to connect dell 926 printer and mac pro?

Currently there is not driver support from Dell for the Mac OS. You will need to install you printer on a Windows machine then share the printer with your Mac system so you can print from Mac.

I have a new I-Mac Computer and an Photo 924 Dell printer. Printer will not print.

There are no known working drivers to make a Dell Photo 924 work on a Mac. This printer is a rebadged Lexmark that uses a proprietary firmware that will only work with Dell drivers and there are none for MACs. You will need to replace the printer...and no, the standard Lexmark drivers will not work with a Mac OS.

Mac compatible with Dell All In One 924 Printer

Unfortunately, there is no offical driver for Mac OS X for this specific printer, but you can try following this link to see if the steps there can at least help you try to use the printer under that operating system. If it does, great, but if it doesn't, I'm afraid you're out of luck

Dell printer work with Mac laptop?

By default, Dell printers are not manufactured to work on Mac OS. You can try using a generic driver for Lexmark printers to use your Dell printer, but chances are, your printer would not work.

Good Luck! Abhishek
