There is probably an internal slow-blow fuse, they will electrically fatigue over time.It will require the cover to be removed to replace it,look for an inline fuse holder on the hot lead where the power cord enters the housing.

Convection oven shuts off after a minute when trying to bake. Does this during Compubake also.. Does not preheat

Possibly a bad oven temp sensor. If the uinit doesnt read a temperature it will shut down to prevent a fire or over heating. The temp sensor is a thermister A temperature variable resistor that changes value as the temp changes. so If the main board doesnt get a response within a vertain resistance range it shuts things down. Sometimes since those parts are in the actual cooking area and subject to the heat and steam from cooking they can rust and break, or just get old and break. Or slam the door and break, you get the idea!!

Microwave won't restart after baking potatoes.

If your microwave is not a convection then the moisture most probably is somehow getting to the controls as potatoes has quite a bit.

Microwave too much steam won't cook

If there is no heat, then it's probably a defective magnetron.

On model mw8626w can i use it in my semi with a 1000 watt inverter?

Take a look at the oven's electric rating information. It should be on the label with the model and serial number, and it will tell you how many amps the oven needs. Power in watts is volts times amps, so a 1000-watt inverter is good for about 8 amps at 120 volts output. Some inverters also use a peak rating, meaning power than can be delivered for a short time. The continuous power may be less than that; you'll need to look at the inverter. As long as the power needed by the oven is within the inverter's ratings then you'll be able to use it. Otherwise you'll need to shop for one with more output power.

The microwave door seems to be loose. The door will remain shut, but the light is on in the microwave and it won't run until I push upwards on the door. How can I tighten the door hinge?

you need a door interlock switch bracket adjustment; or, possibly one of the microswitches replaced on that bracket. it is behind that control panel.
