I have a 27 inch Toshiba about 8 years old, great tv. Model#CE27H15 has seen a lot of on time over the years and one day it finally up and quit. No sound or picture but you can hear the relay click when turned on, the power light keeps blinking but nothing else works. I used to work on tv's for some time on the side of doing electrical work. Thought maybe it is in the power supply a transistor or transformer. Maybe someone can help on this issue!
Still having problems with this? I'd say you're right, it's definitely something in the power supply. The only sure way to find out exactly what is to start taking a voltmeter to the various connections in the power supply, and see where the power stops.
My friend you are having a dead set if you are not a tech let a tech handle your repairs.your problem is could be in any of these circuit 1 power supply 2 your HOT circuit.hot could be defected or 3 microchip that is in the secondary power supply your fly back which is in the Horizontal circuit it could be some diodes in both circuits.as you say that the light in front is blinking then it could be your microchip is defected.but either way you will have to take your set to a tech for repairs.goodluck.
How many blinks does the light do? Or is it constant?
