2 Answers

DVD playback I've only had this 6 months and last week it suddenly stopped playing any dvds (message appears saying unable to read disc please check disc) I cant even use a dvd cleaner as the same thing happens. I've tried resetting the machine and keeping it turned off for a while before use but the problems still persist. Can anyone help please???

My friend you mention that your dvd is only 6 months old i am sure that from where ever you bought that set it has warranty if i was you i would take it back if the set is under warranty.by meddling with the dvd will void its warranty.the dvd has a bad lens problem causing it not to recognize the disc.good luck my friend.

Samsung dvd players are known for bad spin motors. You may try to clean the laser and see if that changes the disposition of the problem. If there is no change and with the top of the unit off,if you see the pin point of laser on top of the disc, and the disc moves or shivers, the chances are it is a bad spin motor. In most cases, it is not cost effective to replace the motor. If an auxillary line in jackis available , buy a $30 dvd to replace it rather than taking it to a service facility that will charge you the same amount to evaluate it. Scrivitron

Are blu ray stops payling in the middle of movies for no apparent reason

One of the possible reasons is that your Blu-ray player is unable to read the disc. Check to make sure the inserted disc is clean and not scratched on the playing side. If so clean the surface of the disc or use an alternative Blu-ray disc to verify. ... Only Region B Blu-ray discs and Region 4 DVDs are compatible.11 Oct 2017
