Ventilate I have a Gaggia Syncrony Compact Digital. After finishing decaling it showed a message saying Ventilate. I follow the manual i.e. press button 26 and open the knob for hot water then close knob and press button 26 again. It does not work and the message Ventilate does not disappear.

To descale the appliance proceed as follows:

• Mix the descaler with water as specified on

the package and fill the water tank.

• Switch ON the appliance with the ON/OFF
switch (7).

• Press the button (26) for at least 5 seconds to

select the descaling operating mode; the LED
emits a fixed light.
I noticed you did not mention the switch ON before you pushed button 26. Try that should work.
