Re: How do I set password to my Curzer
Sansa dosent make the cruzer so im asumming you mean the sandisk cruzer, you'll need to install some software to it in order to do so, unfortunatley it will only work in a windows environment, some drives come with the retai lsoftware on them, U3 for example, you may also beable to secure it with windows xp encryption and/or compresion tools, Try downloading and installing the free version of folder lock, not sure if its limited to a time trial or not but other software is out there, try searching for portable apps or flash drive security, Short of buying a new drive this is the only way to password protect it, that i know of anyway, be carful thought some windows pc's will not let you use a password protected removable media unless you are an administrator or have sufficient privileges on that system.

Hi, Dear Customer, Plz Flow this instruction i think solve you problem. Reformat the drive:-
Right-click the SanDisk flash drive within "Computer" and select "Format..." Enter a name for the drive, select your desired format (FAT32 is typical for flash drives). Click "Start" to format the drive. This, unfortunately, will erase everything on the drive. Any data contained will be lost along with the password protection. Once reformatted, the drive will be fully accessible.
Hi there. what is the Operating System of the computer? Please turn off the computer totally and plug in the hard drive once its turned off. Use another USB port and USB cable. Once all set in, restart PC and wait for the installation wizard. Once it pops up, run the install wizard and select automatically detecting the driver. Click all the way out to finish. This should be good to go.
Plug your flash drive in and launch the .exe file that you will find there. It's probably called launchu3. Once you do that, then you will get a red box on the bottom right of your screen with the Cruzer name on it. Click on that, and you will find the "Security" section. The password setup is in that.
