I have a Bosch SGS43A52GB/04 dishwasher and the bottom arm is not turning and no water is entering the arm. I have cleaned the arm, checked the impellor and sump filters and there was nothing to be found.
Is there a mechanism in the sump that controls the flow between the top and bottm arms as the top arm has water flowing and is turning?
As far as I can see there is no water coming out of the bottom suplly tube. The model I have does not have a half load switch. There is a single outlet from the impellor that divides somewhere to the supply for the top and bottom arms. Before I start trying to clear a possible blockage does anyone know if this is a simple Y type split in the pipe or is there a control mechanism that may be damaged by forcing a flexible rod through? As far as I can see there is no water coming out of the bottom suplly tube. Re:
Have you seen whether water is pouring out of the bottom supply tube with the lower arm removed? not 100% sure on this model but some units have a half load switch but that should turn off the top one.
there may be a blockage in the lower water supply tubeways.

I have this same problem! Just started happening. My Bosch drains fine but only a very little water is entering the unit and it seems to be coming thru the arms on the bottom not the top. Help! I checked the arms and they are clear, drain is clean.
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).
Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.
**Water temperature Note***
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.
Concerning the Film.(Disregard if this is not an issue)
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner. There are a few out there, Try Dishwasher Magic.
1. No water
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water
shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to
the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill
cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at
the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either
side), in which case replace the water valve.

3. Clogged spay arms
There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher.
Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray
arm.
4. Water temperature is too low
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees
Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.
5. Not enough soap
If you only fill one part of the soap cup, try adding soap to
both parts.
6. Smoky film on dishes and glasses
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the
dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner.
check to make sure you are getting enough water entering the dishwasher. If you add a liter of water, does the water arm turn then? If so, you may have a faulty water valve that is not allowing enough water to enter to turn the spray arm. Hope that solves it :)
it's pretty flaky and I didn't work when I tried to download a manual for my SRS43A02GB/08, but the parts-lists do.
If you go to the 'Launch the spare parts eShop' and enter your model number (you only quote it partially above, so you then need to select the particular model), you can see the exploded parts diagram - click right-hand icon 'print all pages' to get a pdf of all the exploded diagrams. You can order from here too and they seem a lot cheaper than alternatives, but I haven't actually bought anything yet.
