How do i fid the message icon to put back on home screen ?

After unlocking your HTC One, look right above the HTC logo on the bottom center of the phone face. Right above it is a square of nine white squares. Touch that square. Now, you'll see a list of ALL applications installed. That list can be sorted in multiple ways. To sort alphabetically, touch and hold anywhere on that screen of icons and pull down a bit. A menu will appear on the screen allowing you to select to sort alphabetically.. Once that's done, look for the Messages icon. 3112a4d4-3eeb-4c5b-9d46-d1057184e632.jpg
Touch and hold the icon. At the top of the screen a new menu will appear. While still holding the icon, drag it up to the word :Shortcut". The menu will disappear and your desktop will be available to drop the icon onto. If there is room, it'll now be on your desktop (once you let go). If there isn't room, while still holding, drag it to the left or right side to change desktop pages. Locate a page that has room, and let go. The icon will then be on that page. If you have no room, then you'll have to create a new page. If you do need more pages, repost for that instruction.

I got a new computer i cant see my web icon no more

Assuming you have one of the Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, etc.) go to Start -> All Programs -> Internet Explorer.

To add a shortcut to the Start Menu, right click on Internet Explorer icon, and select "Pin to Start Menu".

To add a shortcut to your desktop, right click on Internet Explorer icon, and select "Send to" -> "Desktop (create shortcut)"

Hello!

You should be able to find your installed camera on:

**first

- click START
- click ALL PROGRAMS
- locate your camera and highlight, then another menu will drop down then highlight the icon (clicking the icon will open the program, if you right click the icon submenus will drop, choose SEND TO Desktop so that the icon of your camera will be displayed on your desktop)

**second

- locate the folder of your camera on the drive where you installed it, usually on Drive C under Program Files folder.

Hope I was able to help.

I disconnected my phone from the charger this morning and it went to a black screen with no background and no icons.i can still get to all of the items on my phone but only if i open them from menu...

It appears the software to display the touch icons became disabled. There are of course ways to re-enable it, but since you did not write whether you got your phone from htc or by any provider, I am not sure which software this is on your device.

A solution (albeit not the quickest one) is to a complete backup of the phone to sd card (there are programs for that, check out spb backup for a start), then doing a hard reset (like re-formatting the device - you can find it on the settings->system menu, it's called something like erase everything). This will revert the phone to factory default (including a working touch icon application)
After that you restore the backup to get all your data back.
This should solve it.

I can't figure out how to remove shortcuts from the home screen of my LG Chocolate Touch. I can drag shortcuts such as calendar or calculator to my home screen so that I can simply open them in one touch....

go to your main menu, go to settings. go to displays. scroll down to "short cut bin" snd make sure it is turned on. a faded arrow will now appear on the right side of your display screen. drag the icon you want to get rid of to the arrow which will turn into a trash can.
