The cd does not come out when you push the button. Is there another way to get it out?

Make sure the disc tray is fully retracted, then some disassembly is required... if you made is this far, there is a metal tab/lever under the top circuit board, at the back of the unit, slide it over gently and the disc shuttle will eject.

SOURCE: Ford CD Mulichanger cassete stuck in multichanger

There should be a pin-hole on the front of the cassette, just like on a PC cd drive. Push a paperclip into the hole to release the cassette manually.

Cd stuck in sterio aparently there is a reset button to push and release cd.were is the button?

I'm not aware of any button on car cd units. Usually when a cd is stuck in the unit, you need to take another cd, open the door and gently lift or pry up the stuck cd to release it.

Please try in this way.

Disconnect power.
Connect power back, and keep REPEATEDLY pressing the eject button while you connect. If still no ject press power on button while you keep hitting the ehect button. You need to press eject on the unit, do not use the remote.

If that does not work, then the unit must be taken apart.

Cd is stuck inside the player. I moved the unit when decorating and now the unit will not play any cds and there is one stuck inside. I removed the casing to look inside but got scared off when I saw all...

It is safe (except for the lead solder) as long as the unit is not powered ON.
There is a "pin hole" on the front of the CD tray.
With power OFF, use a stylus (straightened-out paperclip) to push the mechanical eject button inside the pin hole. Carefully use enough force to push the CD tray out.

Cd stuck in cd changer

You could take the radio out and take it apart, but you would still have an $1800 CD. Suggest forgetting about the CD, and getting an aftermarket installed for much less.

Unit Keeps Powering Off...Will not stay on

The first thing you need to try is unpluging the unit from the wall totally then wait for about 5 minutes then plug it back in and try again,if you get the same results the cassete is probably stuck in the vcr and that is why the it unit shutsdown. It will continuo to do this until thye cassete is taken out without being force. The unit will need to be service by a professional.
