Most of those sensors are located next to harmonic balancer in the timing cover housing. There is a reluctor wheel on the front of the cranshaft built into the harmonic balancer. It also might be located inside the cover too but near the front of the crankshaft. Does the vehicle have no spark? The sensor helps with the correlation to time the engine for spark.
You don't say which engine you have but the knock sensor is usually into the side of the block(may look like the oil pressure switch) or into the head casting. Go on "images" and that will help you recognise it.
turn it on go feel the wiper. the gear that moves it mite have stripped. or the threads on the wiper arm. you should feel if its moving if not you need 2 change the wiper motor
