I cant seem to get a picture on the projector when connecting to my TV. The blue screen on my projector keeps saying searching for VGA and then searching for composite. What does this mean? Am I missing a cable and how do I resolve this? Thanks
You dont connect a projector to a tv. you connect a video source to the projector like a dvd player or a video machine.xbox 360 etc, the projector then projects the item connected to it, like your tv does when you connect similar items. The projector has a couple of inputs available to it ..this is why it is saying searching VGA and Composite video etc

HP mp3220 projector.
Has two parallel yellow-ish lines running verticle on the blue screen. This happened when it was dropped from about a 3 ft. Any clue as to the solution?
I got a acer p1265 projector a few years ago recently it wouldn't connect connect to VGA so I purchased a new VGA cable I then connected the VGA cable to the projector nothing came up then I tried connecting it to my tv it worked is there something wrong with the projector?
When connecting vga in, the projector does not recognise the PC, or just flash the image from the PC for a while and then the "blue" screen apears - no signal.
