That is the set not seeing signal, Its possible the tuner in the set is bad and first thing is see if a DVD etc connected to a rear audio/video input works---if so with a Cable box connected with audio/video outputs to one of the same kind of inputs on rear of set you can bypass the tuner and get around the problem.
Replacing the tuner if it is bad could be rather expensive.
what connections to you have on your computer? because it is best to match connections with tv to computer. s video? hdmi? they sell av or color stream cables with a splitter to connect to computer color stream is just for picture av (RCA input) is for both video and sound.
Wont pick up your TV? does your tv have the sound? what cable are you using? you will need to pull the lead out blow it get rid off any dust. If that fails you will need to replace you cable.
Have a great day.
Unplug,replug the tv about an hour later,goto tv menu PICTURE,go down to reset,to reset the Tuner board back to factory setting.Than goto SETUP,go down to CH. SETUP,Pick CABLE,than enter to scan all the Cable Channels again,now u should get,what the Cable pakage,u pay for.
depending on the tv input configuration and what your signle source is it would go like this:
TV signal source (Satalite, cable) would go to video in on the reciever and the reciever should have a a moniter out connection to which te tv would connect either by hdmi, component or s connectors
could be that you have your avi cable set to hd mode and play it on a reg tv. or the cable could be bad it self. some times the blinking light is trying to tell you that its not getting the proper signle
Good Day;
Try unplugging the TV & cable/sat box from wall for at least 4-5 minutes, reset/reboot, plug all back into a/c again.
99.5 % of the time the problem you are experiencing is the signl source, be it cable sat or phone.
Good luck, BIG Irish.
