It always draining when spin but when finish washing ,it will not drain.

Clogged Pump or Hose: I had a penny get to the inlet of the pump, so small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing. Keep in mind that any water in the washer will pour out of the hoses when removed. I Hope this helped MERRY CHRISTMAS, Tim

How do I replace the water pump on my Cadillac Deville?

Hi.

Here the instructions.

  • Take off the plastic cover located near the top of the radiator if present.
  • Remove the protective shield located on top of the belt pulling the water pump. You will need to undo two 10mm nuts and one 10mm bolt.
  • Undo the 10mm nut that holds water pump housing togeter with the oil dipstick.
  • Take off the air intake assembly.
  • Move the PCM computer to one side, ensure that the module is safely placed.
  • Release the belt tensioner using a big flat screwdriver.
  • Remove the serpentine belt from the water pump pulley
  • Remove the upper radiator hose. This is held by a metal clamp. Use plyers to remove the clamp.
  • Remove also the clamp from the thermostat housing bypass hose, without removing the hose (you have to bleed coolant first).
  • Unscrew the four 10mm bolts that hold the water pump housing and letcoolant drain from water pump plug. At this point you can also removethe lower radiator hose to drain faster.
  • After coolant drains remove the water pump housing.
  • At this point you have to use a special Water Pump removal tool onwater pump cand turn clockwise until the pump is sliding off thehousing.
  • Remove the pump and the o-ring located inside the water pump housing.
  • Clean and grease the area, put a new o-ring and install back water pump housing
  • Install the new water pump using the special tool and following operations in reverse order.

You may need to use sealant tabs from a Cadillac or GM dealer. Here is what you need.
Better going to your local dealer to get the best product for yourCadillac. You will also need a 3/8'' ratchet, socket and extensions

Youmay also need to replace the housing cover gasket. You will need toreplace the O-Ring, that usually comes with the new pump.
When installing new pump you must also ensure that the new pump is aligned correctly, one of the tabs on the pump housing is different and will lock up the pump, so it must bealigned properly while installing.

JS you Rock !  I'm the guy that would have taken the drain plug off and...

This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model FRONT LOADERS displaying the “F02” error code.

“F02” is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

  1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
  2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
  3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

Standing water in front loader how to fix

More details about where, when, how (and how much), etc., might be useful.
I'd check easy things like the drain hose, to make sure it's not clogged. But the most likely thing is that the filter cup has gotten clogged or the drain pump is dead.

To check out: Get a wet/dry shop vac. Hook it up to the drain hose to suck the water out of the machine and save a lot of mess.
Remove the bottom front panel. The drain pump on my Duet is front center bottom... easy to get to. There's a plastic handle to unscrew if I recall correctly, which brings out a sort of plastic cup filter. You might find enough change to buy yourself a cup of coffee. Clean it out. If it wasn't really clogged up, the problem is either something stuck in a hose, or a failing/failed pump. Check the hoses first; if it's not them, I'd order a new pump.

Waterpump leak

Hello bladresha: My name is Roger and I will help you. The water pump on the 4.0 engine is located at the rear of the motor inside of the water cross over tube. It does require special tools in order to remove and install. This pump does not bolt in or on to the motor. This is a twist and lock in pump. Just like the Cadillac Northstar motor. You will need to remove the upper hose housing from the crossover tube. Look inside of the housing and you will see the water pump. You will need to use the special tool in order to unlock the water pump. Pay close attention to the water pump when removed. There will be a notch in one of the ears. This is a location notch. The new pump must go in the same notch. I have attached a picture that shows the water pump location. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Need to replace the water pump in my 2006 trailblazer, is there anything special I need to know like is one brand part better than another, is there any special tricks of the trade that I can use to...

The only trick I recommend is getting the Haynes repair manual on the vehicle and following the direction in there to do the job. As far as parts are concerned one is pretty much the same as the other.

The agitator is operated by a different motor. Turn OFF the power. Try to find your pump and disconnectt the two hoses to the pump, one from the drum the other that goes to the back. Be ready for a considerable amount of water to come gushing out, use a hose to direct to a floor drain. Check to see if something is stuck in the pump or the hoses, remove it. Check to be sure the impeller spins. If you found something restricting the flow or pump, remove it and re assemble. If the impeller won't spin easily, then you need a new pump.

Remove blockage in the pump. Re-assemble and test.

Problem with F21 code on whirlpool duet sport

i had the same problem. take the bottom cover off of the front of the washer. on the right you will see a round white screw off cover, it is very tight, it unscrews counter clock-wise. pull this out and see if there is any debris in it. if you look into the hole on the right side there is a hole about 1 inch round, this is the pump opening. you may have to take the gray drain hose off of the back of the pump housing and feel if anything is stuck in there, in my case there was a penny stuck side ways blocking the flow of water. after i took it out the washer has been running great again. this is obviously a design flaw, that something that large could manage to get that far, lucky for me it didn't damage the pump impeller. hope this helps. this should take care of the SD and the F21 error codes.
