Beeping and odd light sequence

The washer has been stopping during or after the wash cycle. It then begins to beep about 1 time per second. The 3rd and 4th light in the wash cycle and the first light in the rinse cycle are lit. The manual says I should unplug machine for 60 seconds and then start again. If I do this it runs through completely fine, but then the next time does the same thing. I have also just powered off and advanced it to the rinse cycle it works fine at that point as well. I probably should tell you that a few days be fore this problem started my 11 year son tried to help Mom and in the process overloaded the machine with his bedding including the pillow. The pillow was destroyed n the machine. Good heart. Little experience. One of the tub support brackets broke and we repaired it.

Try pressing the following key pad buttons within 5 seconds - PREWASH OPTIONS - WASH TIME, PREWASH OPTIONS - WASH TIME, in this sequence and allow the washer to run. The LED display will start counting down as the washer begins a sequence of short diagnostics tests. If no error is present, the washer will return to standby. If the error persists, you may have a blockage in your drain pump. Please run the test and let me know the results. Total test time is about 1 minute 40 seconds. I hope this helps you.

Plug off the wall. Open up behind the machine. Check to see if any wires loose. See that the wires from the control panel to the motor are plugged in tight. Vibration from the machine could loosen the wires and give the display wrong readings, or disrupt the run.

1 beep per second and odd light sequence

there some simple solutions but may not always work but everyone should try. underneath when the water pump engage with the tub. there;s a white plastic clip press it out and turn the water pump. it will come off the tub. before doing this you should have the washer disconnected. have someone or put something under so the washer won;t fell on you while reaching down. sometimes debris gets stucks on the way from the tub to the pump. it insert your fingers inside once the pump is taken out and if you find debris take it out. put back the pump and connect the washer again. this can be a very simple solution it won;t work all the times. but what if it does. :)
