boot it into safe mode, and disable startup items, aswell as services within the msconfig window.
for most computers, you turn it on, and continue pressing F8 then the pc wil load, and if done correctly another screen will come up with multiple boot options, select either Repair, or simply go to Safe Mode, and once into safe mode, do the following...
Windows key + R > and this wil bring up a window called Run
then in that windows type: msconfig
within the msconfig window go to the services tab, and on the bottom check "Hide Microsoft services" and disable all startup services, next go to the following Startup tab.. and disable everything. now reboot your pc.
if you are able to boot now, then you have a problem with your os and you need to take it to an IT.
When you turn your laptop on start taping f8 at the same time. The screen will come to a screen that gives you some different options.Use the the up arrow button And highlight safe mode.Hit the enter key.The next screen will give you the option to go into safe mode by choosing yes or doing a system restore if you chose no.I would do a system restore which gives you to pick a bold date on a calender which are different restore points(XP)Vista? I think is the same as Win 7 only go back to the last restore point. You more than likely downloaded an incompatible file that is causing the problem.
You can try to repair your system with the system restore disk that will leave your personal files intact and attempt to fix the system files. If this doesn't work.A full system restore is your only option. Some operating systems come with a restore disk while others have a separate partition on the hard drive.I would suggest you have a geek friend help you the first time or take it to a shop. You may have to get a hold of of the manufacturer to find out how to access the system restore partisan. http://www.ehow.com/how_4424376_install-operating-system-computer.html Here are some free apps that I use.
Make a back up after your squared away only takes 3 DVDs and you just put them in and your back in business.
I always add this for your information. If this is not the solution that you are looking for please re post because when we pick a question to answer FixYa takes it out of the questions.
That is because your netbook runs Windows CE, that is totally different from all other Windows Os's - they have absolutely nothing in common, just the name. Almost no program made for other Windowses will work in CE , so no Flash either.
from the problem description i guess the password which u r mentioning is for the BIOS.... u will have to contact the manufacturer to resolve this issue... they might have set a default password...
Hello, from what I understand, the netbook doesn't use an Intel-standard processor, so only code specifically for that chip will run, ie, no downloadable plug-ins,java, flash etc. CE itself is based on windows 98. I found a site giving useful overviews on these netbooks, I think they're worth visiting:
tp://bestgadgetnow.co.uk/gadget-news/99-cvs-sylvania-netbook-computer-review/ just don't try to view it on your netbook!regards,nicam49
Hi,
I recently bought a Microbook PC with Windows CE v6.00 embeded. It also has WIFI 802.11 b/g.
On the desk top there is a WIFI power button that should activate a
network icon on the tool bar. This Icon has disappeared so I cant
access wireless networks.
Did it work?
