Not printing automatically

When I send anything to the printer it doesnt print automatically, I have to hold down the green button to get it to print every time. Is there something I can do to get it to print without having to do this?

First make sure your paper size setting are correct. If so, you may need to replace the paper feed rollers, which usually is done by a professional

When I print a "letter" size document I have to push the green button to make it print. If it is legal it prints automatically to the legal tray.

Obviosly your magazine (Place of taking paper) of the printer is set to legal. The lights is lighting, couse the printer is telling you: You want me to print on letter, but I don have any letter, so please confirm that you want me to print on legal.
In order to avoid this set the printer to all types of paper available.

It begins to print then stops half way

Having the same problem here... very random... send a print job of labels and it will print the whole lot, or freeze at random points but always halfway through a label... no error message... unplug usb and replug doesnt do anything, but unplug and replug power and off it goes printing more lables but may even freeze again after only a few more have come out... also, every day the first print job of the day prints half the label and pauses for about 10 seconds then keeps going...

- Windows XP Pro SP3
- LabelWriter 400 as supplied out of the box
- Genuine DYMO labels

My printer doesnt print and it is connected on a serial port it just says printing and nothing happens

Hi!

Make sure the cable hasn't died, and check to see if the printer is working by printing a test page, usually done on HP's by pressing and realeasing the green go button, or holding down the power button. If the printer responds, and the cable is ok as far as you know, check and maybe reinstall the drivers with the disk that came with it.

Good Luck, Hope this helps!
