sorry i could not find anything for you. I know how aggrivating this can be. The only thing i can recommend is to try the different pins with the hard drive light. The good thing i can tell you is that with the lights you can plug them in and you should be safe so i recommend trying different pins and see what happens. (make sure the computer is off when you are switching the plugs)

I cannot find your motherboard specs anywhere online. I think you are going to have to get ahold of emachines customer support.

you are going to have to get the model number off your motherboard. There should be some numbers next to a logo then somewhere close to those should be some other numbers (xxxxxxx/xxxxxx) I need all the numbers you can find. and yes this is the only way we can tell where they plug in

Look on the motherboard where all the cables are plugged in, It should list on the board in small letters what plugs in there. whats written on top goes on the top pins & bottom list should be the bottom pins.

Hello Sir, hi, the wires on your casing are usually labeled, like in the picture below: cyberdyers_0.jpg

the power led green wire goes to the power led + and the white goes to the - . Now the HDD + goes to the HDD + the red wire, power switch can be interchange, same as the reset switch.

Pulled off front cover. three sets of wires came off. need to know where to reconnect. white/red wire HDD LED, white/green wire POWER LED, white/black wire POWER SW

Hi. You may want to check your motherboard for this wires to connect to, First, check your motherboards manual and look where the FRONT PANEL is located, then on the front panel or in the manual itself it will tell you where are those wires should be connected to. If you dont have the manual for your motherboard search it on google and do the same, and if still you coudnt find it over the internet then just look closely on your motherboard and look for the words HDD LED, POWER LED and POWER SW, usually those words or the FRONT PANEL is located on the left side bottom part of your motherboard. Hope This Helps

TRYING TO HOOK UP MU POWER BUTTON NEED TO KNOW

Hi there
The front panel connectors are mainly,
  • harddisk activity connector
  • power switch connector
  • reset switch connector
  • power LED connector
  • speakers connector
  • USB connector
Harddisk activity connector
This normally comes red in colour and is labeled as HDD-LED
Power switch connector
This comes green in colour and is labeled as POWER-SW
Reset switch connector
This usually comes grey in colour and is labeled as RST-SW
Power LED connector
This is usually green in colour and is labled as PWR-LED
Speakers connector
This speaker will give different beep sounds during boot to tell the user if there is any errors. It occupies 4 pins, however only 2 is important for the function. Be sure to connect the red coloured cable to the positive polarity and the black to the negative.

Motherboard wiring

Green/wht normally = Reset or Power LED
Red/wht normally = HDD LED
And is the third red/BLACK?
There should be a label on the black pin jumper at the end of each wire.
Does it say anything?

Gigabyte GA-8INXP Motherboard Problem- front connector pins

If the wires from the reset switch is white/blue the blue wire is positive, Hdd red/white red is positive power Green/white Green is positive etc. The wires on the speaker connector will be red/black/black/white - red is positive. The colored wire is always positive. On all GA mb's the positive connection is always towards the back of the MB and are marked with a + on the base of the pin as you can see on the photo.
