Smartimage problem on screen I have a Philips 192e monitor that has a vertical line 'scanning' back and forth. On the bottom left it says Smartimage ON and on the bottom right it says Smartima

You directed this question at me, but unfortunately this isn't my expertise and I am unable to provide you with a real solution at this time.

Hopefully one of other experts will be able to provide you with a real solution.

Dont Buy Philips monitor. I have 20 pcs monitor and after one year half of them had malfunction. smartimage with vertical lines back and forth and that all controls are locked that cant be unlock by holding any button. Some had white screen when Resolution exceed 1024X768 (when 1280X768) after a year.

Maybe they program it to malfunction after a year. My CDR king and AOC monitor had no problem 2yrs to present date.
Philips monitor are garbage

try to check lcd cable/lvds cable , clean contacts and connect

Just hold the smart image button (last on left side of display)
I had same problem a second ago, so it worked for me.
