You probably have something stuck in the pump impellor. remove the filter and clean it. check pump impellor for foreign objects - bits of bra wire are the favourite

LG- Front Loader making loud deep humming noise prior to draining.

I had the same problem. Loud noises during draining operation. It turned out to be the drain pump motor. The impeller that pumps the water wears out on the shaft, and then starts to flop around creating vibrations, and in turn the noises you hear. The pump is a very inexpensive part. $35-50. There is some work involved to get to it, and to replace it, but not overly complex. Just watch the motor wire connections. Take a picture with your camera/phone of the connections. I would recommend watching the youtube video in the link provided on how to get to the motor, as some of the steps can be challenging, especially the drum seal retaining ring removal and reinstallation steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cPl22OC9f4 .
Good luck.

When dishwasher is draining it makes a very loud noise but it does drain

May be solenoid valve makes a thud noise. It is normal.

But if it was silent during earlier days usage and the noise is notice now, then check it's mounting. For this you have to open the back door of your machine.

LG Tromm WM2277HW during high speed spin makes noise

I had exactly the same symptom...grinding noise only during high speed spin cycle.

I took the top and back panels off to see how the drain hoses etc. connected. Not wanting to take it apart further, I eventually just took the washing machine outside (I knew I was going to be dealing with water!), pulled the debris catcher front side bottom, and let rip with a garden hose inside the drum with the catcher out (leaving an open drain that could flow unimpeded).

Water flowed quickly out of the open drain, and lo and behold, a small drill bit came out with the water flow. This bit, presumably had gotten through the drum grating, and was resting on the bottom of the housing, scraping and grinding when the drum was spinning.

Loud noise, then not so loud, but now electrical burning smell and little draining

the smell is your clutch and the lack of draining is a clogged washer drain protector. see these at www.repairclinic.com drain protector is part 541811 and clutch is 2670. go there enter model number and scroll down to the red 100 click it and look for these part numbers.

My BWD 129 washer dryer is not spinning or draining

I have a similar problem - washer wouldn't spin or drain. The problem with my Kenmore 90 series is that the lid switch needs to be replaced. It's a safety feature. During normal operation when the washer is spinning or draining - and you open the lid - the lid switch sensor knows that the lid is opened and then "stops" the machine. A new lid switch needs to be installed. I have picked up the part, but am still trying to figure out "how" to get inside of the washer. The only difference between what you describe, and my problem, is that there is no "unusual" noise coming from the machine. Hope this helps lead you in a good direction. Another good site is Bob Villa's site.

Whirlpool Sound During Drain

Yes, you can pull one of the pump's leads to find whether the noise comes from the pump. You should unplug machine's power cable first and be sure that the disconnected wire is isolated. Before replacing the pump look that it clean from any foreign object/ Good luck!
