You will need to replace the board. Here is the board to order.
Check the water solonoid on the lower right side facing the rear of the unit. the water line connects to it. sounds like it might be defective.

Yes, you have to cut the wiring as the instructions stated. Not all the models have to have wiring cut, so read carefully to see if yours is one that needs to have the wiring cut. If it is not, then you have another problem, and you will have to let us know what the origional problem was before you replaced the board. If your model requires cutting, you may have damaged the main board by not doing this. Unplug the refer and follow the instructions carefully and test to see if it works. It seems the problem might be with temperature control board.Just test it using muli-meter.You must get readings.Do continuity test on the temperature control board and the main control board to find out the problem.i feel like there is some wiring connection problem to and fro the broads.

try to replace the original main pcb board maybe your board that u install have lack connection on temp. board.

Yes you will need to cut the wire the directions states all bottom freezer models and models with certain serial numbers... But you will not need to do other modifications specifically for bottom freezer only models.
