Froze My cu500 froze at the startup window and won`t do anything. Any ideas............Thanks in advance

Sounds like it's cheap junk if you wont it in an arcade.

Probably has an internal memory issue.

try to logon to safe mode by repeatedly pressing F8 just befoe the window boot screen if this wont work then try to install a fresh copy of windows.

Restart the computer and press F8 key after you hear a beep or before it gives you the Windows logo on Startup. It will give you then the Advanced Startup Options.

You could try the option 'Last Known Good Configuration'.

You may also try Safe Mode option and do a System Restore. On Safe Mode, System Restore will automatically loads up at startup. You can then choose the date and time where you had it last working before.

If those can't be done, you may want to run scan file checker and fix system errors for you. Do this from Start> All Programs> Accessories> right click on Command Prompt. Then select Run as Administrator.

On the Command Prompt, enter sfc /scannow

That will automatically repair system files. However, it may ask for Windows Setup CD.

Try booting from your recovery disc and loading the windows , choose install windows and when it gives you the opportunity, choose repair and see if the pc will repair its startup files.

When you said your cursor freeze, does the computer still respond or the whole computer froze. If the computer froze, then it could be anything from, memory, hard drive, cpu, or mainboard. Does the keyboard works, if just the cursor freeze, try using a usb mouse.

Take it out of the freezer.

No, seriously, have you tried to reset it? Is your battery good?
Did you drop the phone on the ground or into water? If no dice after the reset, take it to a phone dealer who might help you.

well, hard to tell you which one you disabled that is needed, but I can tell you which ones are considered safe to disable, go to this article : http://www.cas411.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=82 and try to see if this list matches the ones you disabled.
